Tenant switcher — one login, every customer
Sign in once and pivot between customer workspaces from the top-bar switcher. Each tenant is fully isolated, so techs only ever see the customer they are working on.
Customer CMDB with persistent slots
Model each customer's environment as named slots — "Core firewall — Cape Town", "Access switch — Floor 2". The slot is the source of truth; the physical asset in it can change without losing identity, history or schedules.
Swap-asset workflow
When a device fails, is stolen or gets upgraded, run Swap Asset on the slot. Pick the retirement reason, search and attach the replacement, and the slot instantly reflects the new serial, warranty and assignment.
Immutable history & config trail
Every fit, swap and retirement writes a locked row to ci_asset_history. Rows cannot be edited or deleted — not by techs, not by MSP admins — giving customers a defensible record of what lived in each slot and when.
Maintenance templates & per-customer schedules
Build reusable templates (quarterly firewall review, annual UPS load test, monthly backup verification) once, then schedule them per customer with the cadence and technician that customer expects.
Automated due & overdue reminders
A daily cron emails the assigned technician and the customer contact when a visit is due, and escalates when it becomes overdue. Close the visit in-app to log the outcome and set the next due date automatically.
Portfolio console across every tenant
The MSP portfolio view scores every customer on open jobs, overdue maintenance, warranty expiries and audit freshness, and lets you search assets, employees and job cards across all tenants at once.
Discovery agents & network topology
Drop a lightweight agent on the customer LAN to discover subnets, endpoints and switch neighbours. LLDP/CDP walks produce a live network diagram you can export as PNG, SVG or PDF for the customer pack.
Audit log for every config change
CMDB edits, asset swaps and maintenance updates are streamed to the /msp/audit log with actor, timestamp and a JSON diff. Filter, search and export to CSV for compliance reviews or incident post-mortems.
Tenant-based billing with overage
The MSP plan includes 10 managed tenants. Each additional customer bills at R299/month and is surfaced live in the tenant-usage chip, so growth is visible before it hits the invoice.
On-site job cards with sign-off
Dispatch a technician, capture parts and labour against the correct slot, collect the customer signature on the device, and email a branded PDF copy the moment the job is locked.
