Personal referrals — FAQ

How the 15% works on personal customers

One commission rule, no carve-outs by audience. Below is the small print.

Do personal-lines referrals really earn the same 15%?: Yes. Refer a household to Personal Plus (R79/mo or R63/mo annual) and you earn 15% recurring on that subscription for as long as they stay — same rate as a Growth or Business referral.
Is there a minimum order or volume requirement?: No. One household on Personal Plus pays out the same percentage as a hundred. Payouts run monthly via EFT once the first month is collected and not refunded.
How long does the commission keep paying?: Lifetime of the customer. If a household stays on Personal Plus for five years, you earn 15% on every month of those five years. The commission ends if the customer cancels or downgrades to Personal Free.
What is excluded from the 15%?: Personal Free signups (no subscription revenue), refunded or chargeback months, VAT, the first 30 days of an annual subscription that is later refunded under our money-back terms, and Enterprise contracts negotiated directly. Trial periods accrue and pay out once the customer converts to paid.
What if a household later upgrades to a business workspace?: The attribution sticks to the user account that signed up via your link. If they create a new business workspace under that same account, you continue to earn 15% on the business subscription too.
Can I refer myself or my own household?: No. Self-referrals and referrals to immediate family members on the same household policy are excluded — the program is for referring third parties.
